Welcome to Hebron Christian Church

Welcome to Hebron Christian Church

In a world where opinions abound, we recognize that there is only one opinion that matters – God’s opinion. Why? Well, at the end of the day, we’re not going to have to give an account of our life to some Facebook friend, but rather to God Himself. And how do we know what God thinks? Simple. He wrote it down.

If you are ready to learn what God thinks, come join us Sunday morning. You will find Hebron to be filled with all generations and a warm, friendly atmosphere where our pastors will quickly learn your name. We hope to see you soon!

Our Mission

Winning the Lost,
Maturing the Believer

Our Beliefs

The Holy Bible is the authoritative Word of God, inerrant, infallible, supra-cultural and timeless. To break that down, the Bible is the default position on all matters. It is free of errors. There are no falsehoods in what it teaches. It is for all people, for all time.

While penned by the hands of men, the Holy Spirit was directly involved in the entirety of its production. We agree with the Bible’s testimony about itself - “ALL Scripture is breathed out by God…” (2 Tim. 3:16), even down to the tenses of the verbs. Therefore, with God as its Author, the Bible is wholly trustworthy and reliable. It represents God’s revelation of Himself to man. We don’t have to wonder what God thinks; He wrote it down.
(Deut.4:1-2; Ps.119:11,105; 2Tim.3:16; Heb.4:12; 2Pet.1:20-21)

At HCC, baptism is a sacred act for those who repent of their sins and confess faith in Christ. It involves immersion in water, symbolizing the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Baptism is performed when a person trusts in Christ. It is an act of obedience to Christ’s command, a means of grace, and a public profession of God’s work in one’s life.

While baptisms during worship services are preferred for public testimony, they may occur at other times. We emphasize unity among believers in this practice, reflecting “one Lord, one faith, one baptism.”
(Matt.3:16-17, 28:18-20; Acts 2:37-41, 8:12; Rom.6:4, Col.2:12)

We believe the Lord’s Supper (Communion) reminds us of the amazing sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, therefore we partake of it every time we worship together. It is one of the means of grace.
(Luke 22:19-20; 1 Cor.11:26)

The Bible teaches that Jesus is the one and only way to heaven. He said, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Me” (John 14:6). John the Baptist proclaimed this Truth, “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on Him” (John 3:36). Writing to Christians asking about this issue, the Apostle John definitively stated, “And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have (eternal) life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life” (1 John 5:11-13).

We believe there is one God existing in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. All three are co-eternal, co-equal, exist simultaneously, and are composed of the same essence. We believe God the Father is the Creator of the world and is powerfully active in our world. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and came to this earth as the Savior of the world. We believe the Holy Spirit lives in us to empower us to live lives of meaning, peace and joy.
(Matt.28:19; Jn.10:31-33; 14:8-11; Col.1:15-19; 1 Cor.6:19)

At HCC, we hold the Bible as the final authority in all matters of doctrine and practice. We believe that any sexual activity outside the covenant of biblical marriage—one man and one woman—is contrary to God’s design and is considered sin (Lev.18:22; Rom.1:18–32; 1 Cor.6:9–11; Heb.13:4).

At the same time, we affirm the transforming power of the Gospel. No sin is beyond God’s forgiveness. As Jesus said to the woman caught in adultery, “Neither do I condemn you… go and leave your life of sin” (John 8:11). We believe Christ calls all people to repentance and a new life in Him. Through the Holy Spirit, we can walk in freedom—whether that means faithfulness in marriage or celibacy in singleness. Everyone is welcome to attend Hebron. Those seeking baptism or church membership must be willing to commit to a life of sexual purity, regardless of the specific nature of past or present struggles. Our desire is to extend both grace and truth—to walk with people in love while holding fast to God’s Word.
